Dr. Stephen Pistorius, a prominent figure in Canadian physics and medical physics, has been awarded the 2025 CAP-COMP Peter Kirkby Memorial Medal for Outstanding Service to Canadian Physics. His contributions over 30 years include enhancing the physical sciences profession and public engagement in physics, while serving as a professor at the University of Manitoba and director of the Medical Physics program.
